Booking an appointment
There is no right reason or a 'right time' to start therapy. It is natural for you to wish to speak to me to see if you feel comfortable sharing your story before making an initial mutual assessment appointment.
Our conversation may cover a brief idea of what you want to work on and information about my location, fees and availability.
You can email or send a text message to book an appointment. It's important for you to know I am the only one who has access to my email and phone so your correspondence will only ever be seen by me.
From my own experience of receiving counselling, I know how difficult it is to approach a therapist and understand much of the anxiety that goes along with meeting for the first time. I am mindful of this and try as much as possible to help my clients feel at ease during the session. There is no obligation to continue after our initial consultation if for any reason we believe that I am not the most appropriate therapist for you, I will provide details of other services and therapist that might fit you better.
How do I pay?
I charge £60 per session (50 Minutes) and you can pay by either Bank Transfer or with cash. I will give this information to you at our first session.
I can usually book an initial appointment within a week. I work weekdays. I am able to offer daytime and evening appointments. I will try to be as flexible as possible in order for appointment times to be convenient and consistent.
Where will we meet?
I work from Cornerstone Counselling & Therapy Centre, 99 Murray Road, S11 7GH. I can offer video (Zoom) sessions for clients in the UK and overseas.
